Maggie the Faithful

Yesterday Momcat tripped while going up the stairs and dislocated her right knee. This has happened before, but not since January, 2006. That's a pretty good streak!

Maggie was near-by when it happened and she's convinced it's her fault, especially since Momcat was screaming in pain. Maggie didn't know what to do. We cats understand to just stay out of the way. Afterall, nothing is EVER our fault!  Even I can't blame Maggie.

Since yesterday morning she hasn't left Momcat's side. Here's a picture of her taken just today while watching Momcat at the computer. C'mon, Maggie, get over your guilt. Momcat will be fine!

Purringly,
Piwacket (who never thought I'd feel sorry for the DAWG)

Take care of that knee Momcat ... my gawjus DD2 did that late last year and it took ages for her to recover fully. Don't do too much too soon ;o).
Hugs,
Joy :o)

Oh no! So sorry about the accident. Get Maggie to give Momcat lots of big wet licks. I hear they work wonders. Get well soon Momcat.

Uh ho. I too have stairs and have slide down them one time...and ever sense very fearful of them. So sorry MomCat was hurt on your stairs, but glad to know all the kids are concerned and helping. But while they may offer up some of their canned food, I hope MomCat will hold out for something better. Even pizza delivery.

Hope MomCat feels better very soon!

And I hope she'll take photos of all the clan, on quilts, for sharing in my upcoming Pets on Quilts show.
